We had a wedding and my nephews 18th b-day party in SLC last weekend, so Teag decided to play in another Wasatch Revolution football game!

He had a great time, as did Dallas and I watching him. His parents, Chad and Meg, Jay and Steph, my mom and some of Teag's friends came to show their support.

Other than breaking a finger, Teag totally showed his "A game".

Dallas was as wild as ever, finding friends and running back and forth underneath the bleachers. At one point I came out from under the bleachers (where Dallas was playing with his new friends, then turning around and telling me "bye-bye, mama" and running away again)

and thought I saw a #99 out on the field with the defense. Teag hasn't played defense since high school, but he got out there with the Rev Friday night.

He was pretty upset he didn't play in true #99 fashion and missed a sack, but I still think he looked pretty great out there! It is just fun to see him play again and I love that Dal can see daddy play football!

Mother's Day

There is nothing I love more than being a mom to this sweet boy!

He is truly my little angel and I can't imagine life without him. It can be a hard job at times, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I feel so blessed to have him in my life and love him more than anything! I was a little nervous to become a mom, but it still amazes me how natural it felt from the minute he was born. I am so lucky to be his 'mama'!

Sometimes I think it is taken for granted just how easy it can be for some to become moms, while others don't have it so easy. I have a few close friends who have had struggles to become moms and it is heartbreaking. Right now I have a sweet cousin who is in ICU due to complications after she had her first little girl on Monday. It is such a miracle to have a baby and have both mom and baby be okay. I didn't know if I would be able to have kids, so I feel especially lucky to have my little man. Then when Dallie was born he had some problems and stopped breathing and had to be rushed away before I could hold him. Those first few days when he was in the NICU were so scary and I just prayed and prayed that my new little angel would be okay. We are so blessed that everything ended up okay and he is perfectly healthy today.

And then there is my mom...she is absolutely amazing! I don't know what I would do without her. She and my sisters are my best friends in the world and I feel SO, SO lucky for that! I don't know how my mom did it with 5 crazy kids! We all gave her grief, worry and heartache in different ways, but I don't think any one of us ever doubted her love for us.

She is patient, kind, loving, forgiving, thoughtful, fun, unselfish, dependable, honest, and on and on and on. I am so proud and lucky that she is my mom!

She has always been there, no matter what. She is there for me to talk about anything, and always has the best advise. She has helped me through so many tough times throughout my life, but has also been there to have plenty of fun and many great times. She is the ultimate example and I hope I can be half the mom she has been! Thanks and I love you mom!

BACK TO HIS GLORY DAYS!

A few of Teag's friends that he played with at BYU and played against at the U now play for the Wasatch Revolution football team.

Teag said the league is like a rec league for former players.

The REV were playing the St. George Blitz on Saturday night, so we planned on going down for the game. Then one of Teag's friends called and said they were down some lineman and wanted him to play. He and Justin Ena (another former Coug who is also a coach at SUU) suited up for the game.

A few weeks ago was the Spring Game for SUU and Dallas could not have been more excited! He was running up and down the stairs of the staduim screaming "daddy football!", pointing at Teag and clapping like crazy. Everyone around us was DYING! He was even more beside himself when we went down onto the field after the game.
It wasn't much different at this game...he was trying to climb over the fence and yelling "Teag!" and "daddy!" over and over. Anytime Teag went onto the field he went nuts!

It was SO much fun seeing Teag back out there! It has been a few years since he has played, and he wasn't so sure he would even be able to because of his knees, but once he got out there he dominated like he always has ;)

Teag was pretty excited he would be playing with 'Cubbs' again.

They played on the Offensive Line together at BYU and seemed to be having a blast out there together again! The star QB is another Cougar, the one and only Charlie Peterson. Chuck is HILARIOUS and fun to watch play!

Cute Justice Ena helping get Dallas back...he kept trying to figure out how to get down to the field to his dad, and unfortunately he finally did. Justin's wife Dana and I spent the whole 2nd half chasing our kids trying to keep them in the stands. It didn't help that the game didn't start until 8 pm, when Dallie is usually in bed sleeping.

The REV pulled it off and beat the Blitz 48-0! I guess it doesn't hurt to have a bunch of former college and NFL players on your team!

Good-bye Boise :(

Well it has taken me this long to write a post about our move from Boise because I can finally think about it without bawling! (mostly, depends on the day)

We lived in the BEST neighborhood, I had the BEST friends, I loved my house, and I didn't think we would be going anywhere for a while, but things change and life just happens sometimes! Cedar City is fine and all, and I am sure I will love it in time as well, but I will never forget how great our time in Boise was and how lucky I am to have lived there and met the lifelong friends I did :)

I can't even begin to thank everyone enough for all they did for us, from helping me clean my house once we were all packed up, to helping load the TWO moving trucks, to throwing Teag and I a suprise goodbye/birthday party the night before we left!

We still have our house in Boise and are renting it right now, so I can only hope that Teag will get an offer to coach at BSU and we can move back someday :)

We started out with the Penske truck (the biggest one you can rent), but we filled it up pretty quickly...so the morning we left Teag had to go get another truck!

Luckily Teag's brother Chad and his fiance Meg came up to help with the move, otherwise we wouldn't have had enough drivers!!!

And now for the dogs...

this was quite a stress because we can't have pets where we are living in Cedar, so we had to figure out where these two loves would go.

Teag's good friend Pete took Ruby a little while back when she was giving Dallas a hard time, and he happily agreed to take her for good! It was tough to let her go because we got her pretty soon after we got married, but I know she is in good hands and is being completely spoiled!

Ruby LOVES Pete and Pete is SO GOOD to Rubes! He does sales and actually takes her along with him during the day and she just snoozes in the car while he goes into businesses.

And then Cooper the Sweet. Cooper was always my cuddle-buddy, especially when I was pregnant. He would lay in front of the fire with me and either be my pillow or he'd spoon with me. He loves people and certainly let's you know it.

My sister Kim and her family have had dogs before and LOVE Golden's so I called her a few weeks before we moved to see if there was ANY chance they would want Cooper. We were SO, SO happy when they said they would LOVE to have him!

They were going to suprise the boys, but then couldn't keep it a secret. They said "boys, you know how Aunt Goat and Uncle Teag are moving?" and Ben chimed in and asked "do we get Dallas?" So cute! I think they were almost as happy to get Cooper though :)

Ben and Isaak are SO good to him and were all prepared with new dog gear when I took Cooper down to them. That first night Isaak took Coop on about 5 walks in just a couple hours.

You guys made it so much easier on us/me! And thanks to Kim for understanding when I broke down saying goodbye to Coop-a-loop. The great part is we can see him whenever we want and we know he is SO loved and well taken care of. Thanks guys!

We were so excited that we were in Utah for a few early Easter celebrations!

We had so much fun seeing our cousins and their kids and some of our aunts and uncles that were in town for the weekend. Dallas was lucky that he got to be with all his Reynolds cousins!
