HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

We had such a fun Halloween night, although at Dallas' age there isn't much to do other than dress him up and take pictures!

I followed my sister Kim's tradition of making chili and cornbread...such a good meal for a cold Halloween night!

We had dessert and treats with our neighbors then passed out candy. My Uncle Paul and Aunt Leslie stopped by on their way through Boise, so we got to hang out and chat with them for a bit too. All in all it was a great night!

Dallas and the neighbor kids all dressed up

Our neighbors set bails of hay in their trailer and drove all the kids around the neighborhood to trick-or-treat. They had blankets, hot chocolate and even a strobe light! Next year Dallas (and I!) will be LOVING this!

Halloween Fun!

Dallas and I flew to SLC Wednesday to go to my mom's annual Halloween party! We ended up being there less than 24 hrs. but it was worth it. Not only does my mom LOVE holidays, she loves to throw a party too! She went all out as usual and the party was so much fun!

Dallas was such a good sport in his costume and loved being with everyone!

I LOVE MY LITTLE LION!!!

I was so happy Teag's parents came over to see Dallie in his costume!

This was Dallas pre-party, he thinks he's ready to start feeding himself!

Dallas and Uncle J - we were SO happy he was able to come hang out with us for the afternoon. He is doing pretty well and looks great!
Dallas had so much fun with him!

My mom and dad after the festivities were done. They are so cute together and LOVE being grandparents! My dad loves to say the only reason to have kids is to get grandkids!

6 months old!

Well, we had Dallas' 6 month appt. yesterday! He is doing great - 17 lb. 9 oz. (50%) and 28 in. (90%). He had his shots and was tough as always. The Dr. said we can start him on cereal, so below are pictures of the big event. The Dr. also advised me that I can stop feeding him in the night and start letting him 'cry it out'. It was tough! Teag had to remind me at 1 am and 5 am that he was fine and would fall back asleep soon. 10 min. (which felt like an hour!) later he was asleep both times. We'll see how tonight goes!
-
He has also gotten in his 2 bottom teeth! I have attempted to get pictures for a few weeks now, but he won't let me! He covers his teeth with his tongue whenever I try to look at them.
-
Our favorite new thing that Dallas does is give us loves! He hugs me around the neck and will plant a big, slobbery, open mouth on my cheek when I say "give mommy loves". At first I was the only one getting them, but he has started giving them to Teag too. Good thing because his daddy was kind of getting his feelings hurt!
-
The other new thing is his scream/squeal. Since our last day in New Jersey he has started this high pitch squeal. I hear it all day long! Yesterday at gymboree it was constant, and kept all the other mom's laughing hysterically! Today he let one out in the bank and got attention from everyone there! It is SO funny when we hear him doing it on the monitor at night when he is going to bed. He keeps us laughing and smiling always :)

Teag getting ready to give Dallie his first taste!

Yeah, he liked it alright!

Who knew rice cereal could be this great?!

Cooper sat patiently waiting for Dallas to be done. Once he was, Cooper licked up any remaining cereal from Dallas' bib and tray

NEW JERSEY

Dallas and I spent the past week in New Jersey with my sister Lisa and her cute family. We had so much fun just doing their day-to-day stuff with them, watching our shows at night after all the kids were in bed, going to Panera for lunch, doing a little shopping, celebrating Eliza's 1st B-day, and enjoying our fountain drinks all along the way!

Eliza and Dallas hanging out in the kitchen-he was FASCINATED watching her eat baby food and real food in her high-chair

While we were there Dallas sat up by himself for the first time!

Me and my little buddy

I guess Dallas changed his mind about giving Eliza 'Baby Tad' for her birthday, he wanted it for himself!

Dallie hanging out in the swing

Dallas with the O'Neil girls! He LOVED spending time with his cousins (and is going to be so bored with just me during the day now!)

Teag was waiting anxiously at the airport and has not been apart from his best little buddy for a minute since we got home! Dallas was pretty excited to see his Daddy too - they've been watching football, cuddling and playing nonstop!

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend Teag and I took Dallas to the pumpkin patch for a hayride and some pictures!

We're back!

Dallas and I got back from Utah last week and have just been getting back into our routine. Dallas LOVED hanging out with the boys and watching their every move. They were adorable with him and told Kim they were just going to pretend he was their baby brother
for a few weeks - so cute!
We had movie nights, went to the Children's Museum, went to Fat Cat's, hung out with Gram Reynolds and played at home!

Ben, Isaak and Dallas posing before their soccer games

The kids were so good the whole time, so on my last day with them we went to 'Build-A-Bear'. Dallas got a cheetah just like Isaak, and Benny got cat-in-the-hat

Dallas LOVES his cheetah!

We suprised Kim, Steve and my parents at the airport-sign and all!
Kim and Steve thanked me with Swiss chocolates, Cafe Rio and a dreamy massage!
Although we had a great time, we were happy to come home. Teag missed his best little buddy SOOO much!
