We'll miss you Wayne & Helen

It was so sad to say goodbye to our Uncle Wayne and Aunt Helen a few weeks ago!
Wayne is 96 and Helen's health isn't great, so they are ready to take it a little easier. They are moving to Maryland to be close to Helen's daughter.
It has been so fun spending holidays with them through the years! We will never forget hearing about Mt. St. Helen's (they used to live in Montana), Wayne's stories of working on the railroad, Helen shop (and her love of shopping and Nordstrom!), Helen's blinking Santa Hat at Christmas and all the time we have been lucky to spend with them.

We will miss you guys and love you!

cutest Uncle Wayne & Aunt Helen

Gram Reynolds with her big brother Wayne
Wayne is Gram's only sibling and they are especially close,
so it was really sad seeing them say goodbye

all of us

My grandpa Reynolds was an only child, so Wayne was my dad's only Uncle
Isaak had his pack meeting beforehand (where he was awarded a record number of arrows!)
He was pretty excited when Gram showed him my dad's awards from his scouting days

Eliza and Dallas enjoying their dessert on the back patio at Gram's house

Dal couldn't let any ice cream go to waste, even if it fell off his spoon onto the ground?!?!

A few of our fave's from Gram Reynolds house

growing up we went to Gram's house every-other Sunday for dinner
we had so much fun running around and playing in her backyard and basement
here are a few of our favorite memories...

ringing the bell!

Her neighbor Coy told us he always knew when her family was over because the bell would be ringing non-stop!
We also had an awesome fort in the backyard, but Isaak said it is infested with black widows and other creatures, so I didn't venture in to get a picture of that!
Jay or Lee, what were the names of the twins who lived behind grandma???
I totally remember being jealous when you guys would go play with them!
I'm not quite sure what this is, but we used to pretend it was an oven

the bean-bag game in the basement!
COUNTLESS hours were spent playing this in our younger years

we would use the chalk from the bean-bag scoreboard to document our crushes...

there are some GOODIES up there, but we'll just keep it at the ones that lasted :)
